Unveiling Harry Potter New York: An immersive 21,000 sq ft Wizarding World Experience Opens June 3rd

Harry Potter New York is Officially Opening Its Doors on June 3rd in the Flatiron District

The much-anticipated Harry Potter New York, an unprecedented retl destination that marries breathtaking design, exceptional craftsmanship, intricately detled props, interactive experiences, and exclusive merchandise, will finally open its doors to fans. Spanning across three floors with a total area of over 21,000 square feet, the store offers the most extensive collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products under one roof.

Upon stepping inside this magical realm, visitors will be greeted by an awe-inspiring model of Fawkes the Phoenix, its imposing form perched atop the ceiling. This majestic creature was meticulously crafted by a team of expert propmakers over several months and weighs more than 220 pounds. Fawkes is just one of many pnstakingly detled, handmade props designed to astonish customers as they explore.

The store features a total of 15 distinct themed areas that bring the magic of the Wizarding World vividly to life. Witches, wizards, and non-magical beings will encounter exciting experiences at each turn. Fans can strike their best pose in various photo opportunities, like stepping into a London telephone booth as they enter the Ministry of Magic or seeing themselves in Hagrid's oversized boots.

An interactive wand table allows patrons to pick up a wand, testing its power and bringing beloved characters from the Harry Potter universe closer than ever before. The store is also integrating digital technologies with the Harry Potter Fan Club app, offering Enchanted Keys that unlock exclusive content like behind-the-scenes facts, figures, and videos that bring the store's magic to life.

Two immersive virtual reality experiences awt in-store visitors this summer: Chaos at Hogwarts, which enables magical travelers to embark on a journey through Hogwarts Castle with its enchanted creatures and secrets wting around every corner; and Wizards Take Flight, offering guests an adrenaline-pumping broom ride experience complete with wand battles agnst Death Eaters over London's skies.

Those searching for a unique gift will find it in the Personalization Area, where they can create one-of-a-kind items like engraved wands, embossed journals, or embroidered House robes. The Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans awt in an area reminiscent of Honeydukes' whimsical surroundings, while the Dirigible Plum tree provides a magical encounter with soft toy versions of their favorite magical creatures.

Guarding the entrance to Dumbledore’s office is the majestic Griffin rotating in the store's mn atrium. From there, visitors can explore the Wand Shop, where over 50 wands inspired by characters, locations, and props from the Wizarding World are displayed, including the Golden Snitch wand exclusive to this location.

According to Sarah Roots, EVP of Warner Bros. Worldwide Tours and Retl, Harry Potter New York offers a completely new shopping experience for fans with its vast collection of over 1,000 Wizarding World props, incredible theming, interactive experiences like photo opportunities, and an unparalleled range of products.

Adding to the experience is America's only House of MinaLima gallery and store located within Harry Potter New York. This space showcases the graphic artistry featured in all Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies, designed by the iconic duo behind MinaLima's London shop.

Fans will also have access to a variety of brand collaborations featuring Spirit Jerseys, Loungefly handbags, and other fan-favorite ranges from Pottery Barn Teen among many others.
