Comprehensive Educational Experience at Williamsville Central School District's Department of Instruction

Welcome to the Williamsville Central School District's Department of Instruction, where we're dedicated to providing a comprehensive educational experience for every student. This page is designed as an overview of our school groups and programming.

We offer scheduling assistance through WITS Williamsville Internet Technology Services for teachers and schools within the district who are interested in making field trips to our planetarium. For other non-affiliated schools, we provide services with a flat fee of $55 per show; this applies to groups as small as 20 participants including students and educators.

Non-profit parochial and private schools located in Williamsville Central School District can att without the need for payment. For all community programs unrelated to schools, please contact Community Education for coordination and detls.

Our planetarium offers an exciting range of programming tlored to different grade levels:

• Pre-K Kindergarten: Designed activities that stimulate early learning through interactive stories about our universe.

• Grades 1-2: Engaging shows med at fostering foundational knowledge about the cosmos, stars, and planets suitable for young minds.

• Grades 3-4: More in-depth presentations which delve into celestial phenomena and space exploration to deepen children's understanding of astronomy.

• Grades 5-8: Advanced lectures that cover complex concepts including galaxy formation, dark matter, and theories about life beyond Earth.

• Grades 9-12: College-level discussions centered around astrophysics, space travel, and current scientific advancements in astrobiology.
